This weekend, we attended the Family Astronomy Day at Jenny Jump State Forest near Hope, NJ. The United Astronomy Clubs of NJ houses several permanent telescopes each owned by a different NJ astronomy club.
The view was breathtaking.
Daytime gave us beautiful views, interesting talks, and some kids activities as well as solar observing.
One of the displays was Wayne’s meteorite collection which he loves talking about.
The evening was mostly clear and lots of people got to use the telescopes to do some observing. Such a fun event – we’re definitely going back next year!
