The City of Linden is hosting a Summer Concert Series this summer. Events are held at the Raymond Wood Bauer Promenade at 400 North Wood Avenue in Linden and are free to residents. Seating is first come, first served, and residents are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.
June 23 – High Strung Band will perform classic rock and country starting at 7:30 pm.
June 27 – Sounds of the Streets will perform DooWop classics starting at 7:30 pm.
June 29 – Comedy Night starting at 8:00 pm.
July 6 – Comedy Night starting at 8:00 pm.
July 7 – Boot Hill Express will perform classic and Southern rock starting at 7:30 pm.
July 10 – Royal Scam, a Steely Dan tribute band, will perform at 7:30 pm.
July 13 – Comedy Night starting at 8:00 pm.
July 18– Van Martin and the Big Band will perform at 7:30 pm.
July 20 – Comedy Night starting at 8:00 pm.
July 21 – 7 Stone Band will perform classic rock starting at 7:30 pm.
July 23 – The NJ Shakespeare Theater will perform “The Taming of the Shrew” at 7:30 pm.
July 25 – Human Wheels, a 70s, 80s, and 90s rock group, will perform starting at 7:30 pm.
July 27 – Comedy Night starting at 8:00 pm.
August 1 – National Night Out will take place from 4 pm until 7 pm followed by the Rob Paparozzi Band which will perform classic blues.
August 3 – Comedy Night starting at 8:00 pm.
August 4 – Dara and Frank will perform classic pop and rock at 7:30 pm.
August 8 – Route 80s Band will perform classic 80s rock at 7:30.
August 10 – Comedy Night starting at 8:00 pm.
August 15 – 100 Proof Band will perform classic southern rock starting at 7:30 pm.
August 18 – Billy the Kid will perform classic rock and blues at 7:30 pm.
August 22 – The Best of the Eagles will perform at 7:30 pm.
August 24 – Comedy Night starting at 8:00 pm.
August 29 – Epic Soul, a classic soul and R&B group, will perform starting at 7:30.
September 5 – Adlers Band will perform polka favorites at 7:30 pm.
This summer’s Summer Concert Series is sponsored by Linden’s Mayor Derek Armstead, along with the City Council, the Linden Recreation Department, and the Department of Public Property.
